INSTRUCTIONS for download

The .exe files on this page are application files that can run on any PC with a Ge- Force 2 or better graphic card and DirectX 8.10 or higher download from>microsoft site

When you downloaded the exe file, just double click and a screen will appear for you to set your viewing options Full Screen or in a Window

Once set, the Quest 3D viewer will be activated and you can use the mouse with the arrow keys on your Keyboard to navigate around the space. To Quit the model press Esc on your keyboard.

Transfer your 3d models into real-time sets

When using a 3D model that has created in 3d studio Max or any 3d modeling program you can have some hands-on sessions with Directors, Art directors, but if the set is not in a real-time format, this will always be limited and you have to constantly wait for re-rendered changes and inevitably you lose the fluidity in your communication.

Therefore the next step is to transfer the model into a real-time interactive format using Quest 3d software, here you can try out different design ideas and materials, animate scenery, move objects around while working with the director you can also check sight-lines, camera viewpoints, create and test virtual scenery for projecting on stage, and familiarize the actors with the stage before it is built. When published on a Website, real-time set design models offer increasing possibilities for remote cooperative working, which is especially useful for touring shows.
