The Runaway Hare

It is a hide and seek adventure performance  for toddlers and their grown-ups. The audience is invited to become part of the story and join the performer in a curious, playful and sensory journey through a digitally enhanced performance.

The show was presented in collaboration with Nottingham Lakeside Arts and was developed and designed  as part of my PhD research at the University of Nottingham, Horizon Digital Economy Research and Mixed Reality Lab. My research  focused on the design of visual, sensory and interactive digitally enhanced performance spaces to harness young audiences innate playful nature.

The performance will engage audiences as co-creators through touch and interactive play. Some of the activities are child-led which allows them to influence the action, choose where to play and how to collaborate with the performer.
